Pyramids

Terry Pratchett novels have sold a staggering 45 million( give or take a few millions ) says the blurb on his novel  "Pyramids".

Terry Pratchett's profoundly irreverent novels are set in a make believe world called Discworld.

He writes fantasy novels with huge dozes of humour and abundant satire. He parodies religion, Christmas, opera, war everything. Nothing is sacred. But what fun the whole ride is .

"Pyramids" opens with examinations at an assassin's school and the student is a Prince of a small kingdom which later disappears due to disruptions in the Space/Time  continuum . The mummies wake up  and walk out of their Pyramids , a  Camel cogitates on  Scientific theories and derives equations. There is a lot of  talk of "Quantum" .

A hilarious  and fun read .
